Will Call of Duty Be Coming to Xbox Game Pass Soon?

Do you want to know whether Call Of Duty will come to Xbox Game Pass soon? Recently, Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard, the parent company of the Franchise. Even though the deal is not finalized, all the shareholders have approved it, and many people wonder if the game will come to Game Pass because of this acquisition. This guide will tell you whether Call of Duty will come to Xbox Game Pass soon.

Will Call of Duty Come To Xbox Game Pass?

Call of Duty will not come to Xbox Game Pass for at least a few more years.

This is because Sony and Activision have an agreement that Activision Blizzard is not allowed to place any games on the Xbox Game Pass for some years. For this reason, we won’t be seeing Call of Duty in the Game Pass any time soon.

This also would make sense because Activision makes a lot of revenue from PlayStation, and they wouldn’t give it up.

The UK’s CMA has said in a report that all the titles won’t be on the Game Pass until 2025. Another reason for not being on the Game Pass is that the acquisition is completed. Microsoft only won the court case against FTC over the purchase, which doesn’t mean the addition is complete.

When Will Call of Duty Come To Xbox Game Pass?

You can expect all the game titles to be added to the Game Pass only after 2025.

This acquisition is one of the most controversial deals of the decade since this deal could create a monopoly in the cloud gaming space.

Three regulatory authorities had to approve this acquisition so that it could happen. FTC and the EU Merger Control Commission passed the deal with a few conditions. This means that the UK’s CMA only hasn’t approved it yet.

This seems to be a significant setback in the acquisition, but Microsoft announced it would bring all the Xbox games and Activision Blizzard to more cloud gaming spaces. This seems to be a move to convince the UK’s CMA to approve the acquisition since this was the reason that it blocked the deal.

Microsoft also announced it will appeal for this again, but they haven’t informed when that will happen.

Call of Duty is available on PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox.
