The NICKMERCS bundle was available in the Call of Duty store from 31st May 2023 for 2,400 COD points. The Reason Behind NICKMERCS Bundle Removal.
It all started with a Tweet. Brennon Murphy (@brenonade) posted a video of a tense satiation between Anti- LGBT protestors and Pro-LGBT demonstrators in California. And Puckett (@MLGPuckett) Retweeted it, saying, ‘Americans are in a sad place right now. Let people love who they love and live your own life.’ The incident happened in a school, followed by a school board voting on recognizing June as Pride Month (A month dedicated to celebrating LGBTQIA+ people).
NICKMERCS replied to this post ‘They should leave little children alone. That’s the real issue’ on 7th June 2023. The Tweet created a storm. Some were against the statement, while NICKMERCS fans began to defend him. In response, Activision removed the NICKMERCS bundle from its store and issued a public statement on Twitter on 9th June 2023.

It says, ‘Due to recent events, we have removed the “NICKMERCS Operator” bundle from the Modern Warfare II and Warzone store. We are focused on celebrating PRIDE with our employees and our community.’

However, many Calls of Duty fans were against this decision and began to remove the game. Another famous influencer, Dr. Disrespect, publicly deleted the game and said he will not return until Activision apologizes or revoke the bundle removal. Meanwhile, NICKMERCS Tweeted a Thankyou message for all the supporters and stated he has no intention to delete the controversial Tweet.
