What is Pokémon Go sustainability week?
Sustainability Week is back in Pokémon GO from 10 a.m. on April 20, 2023, to 8 p.m. on April 26, 2023. this year, it’s all about the Bounsweet line of evolutions. In addition, Sustainability Week offers exciting new Pokémon, shiny items, field research, increased spawns rate of some Pokémon, and bonuses for all players.
Sustainability Week 2023 starts in Pokémon GO with the release of Bounsweet, Steenee, and Tsareena. They are Grass-type Generation 7 Fruit Pokémon. Bounsweet can be caught in the wild. With 25 Bounsweet Candy, it will change into Steenee, and with 100 Bounsweet Candy, it will change into Tsareena. Unfortunately, Steenee and Tsareena can’t be caught in the wild yet, so they must be evolved.
The Sustainability Week event includes three new Bounsweet-inspired things players can put on their avatars: the Bounsweet Hat, the Steenee Shirt, and the Tsareena Boots.
Also, players will see more Pokémon with themes related to nature, especially the ocean. Throughout the week-long event, Shellder, Wailmer, Drilbur, Cottonee, Petilil, Dwebble, Froakie, and Foongus will show up more often.
