These are the steps to follow to activate Slide Cancel in Warzone.
Before learning how to slide cancel in Warzone, you must ensure that your Left Ctrl key is set to stance/slide and not crouch/slide in the settings menu. In Call of Duty: Warzone, if you slide and then press the crouch button, you will jump instead, ruining your slide stop.
Now follow these steps to activate Slide Cancel in Call of Duty Warzone.
- Double tap the Tactical Sprint button (usually the Left Shift key) to begin the Tactical Sprint.
- When you start sprinting, hold-press the crouch button (the Left Ctrl key) to start sliding.
- Quickly tap the left ctrl button to enter a crouching state and cancel your slide button.
- Finally, tap the space bar (or jump button) to enter a standing state.
