Securing Forecast Data from Forecast Towers
Forecast towers are the newest addition to the latest edition of Fortnite: Fortnite Last Resort. These Forecast towers inform players where the next storm circles will be. Knowing these locations will provide an advantage for players to be in the center of the zone in Battle Royales and earn Survivor Medals.
Here are the steps to securing Forecast data from the forecast towers,
- Locate the Forecast tower:
Forecast towers could be found scattered all over the map. But for each match, only three Forecast Towers would appear. These towers will appear as satellites on the map so players can quickly locate them. Players have to find these towers rapidly and move towards these towers.
- Defeat the guards
Three guards would guard the forecast tower. Two henchmen accompanied one head guard. First, destroy the two henchmen and then move into defeating the boss NPC. After defeating the boss NPC, you must collect the Forecast Tower Access Card he dropped.

- Go to the Base of the Forecast Tower
After you have gained the tower access card, go to the base of the Forecast Tower. You would find a large machine with the words ‘FORECAST AVAILABLE’ displayed. With the looted tower access card, you can secure Forecast Data by holding the button on-screen. Sometimes, after you have reached the tower base, the machine might not display the words ‘FORECAST AVAILABLE.’ This occurs when other players have already taken advantage of your position and acquired the forecast data.

Complete the Secure Forecast Data from a Forecast Tower quest by doing this twice in the exact match or over multiple games. Completing this quest will earn you 35,000 XP.
Finishing up the weekly quest will contribute to your Weekly Bonus Goal, which will be a reward of 40,000 XP.
