Once you have farmed Silver Leaves, you must play Bonfire Bash matches and complete them to transform the Silver Leaves into Silver Ash.
It’s important to note that you must stock up on plenty of Silver Leaves before playing Bonfire Bash. You can earn five Silver Ashes for every Silver Leaf you transform.
The way you upgrade the armor is by spending the Silver Ash to reroll the stats of the armor. There’s no other activity or event in Destiny 2 that allows you to do this.
You have to wait without rerolling till your armor reaches tier three to get the optimal stats. To get the armor to tier three, you must use Kindling.
