Ruin Locations in Fortnite
On Fortnite Island, you can check out four bigger ruined temple sites and five smaller ones. All of them are in the new jungle setting, and the only way to open them is to figure out a puzzle. And if you want to find more treasure, go for the bigger temple sites, but don’t forget to check out the smaller ones as well.
Small Temple Ruins Locations
- In the southeast of Shady Stilts
- In the southwest of Shady Stilts, south of Mayday Meadow
- At Sunswoon Lagoon in the west of Creeky Compound
- In the southeast of Creeky Compound
- In the south of Rumble Ruins on a mountain
Large Temple Ruins Locations
- In the middle of Rumble Ruins
- The southern temple is located in the southeast of Rumble Ruins
- The northern temple is in the northeast of Shady Stilts
- The hidden temple is northwest of Creeky Compound, below a cliff

How To Solve a Puzzle at a Ruin (Easy Method) In Fortnite?
There are three main puzzles to solve to get into the treasure.
The Give Item Puzzle
This is the most straightforward puzzle to solve. All you have to do is offer a valuable item matching the rarity level mentioned by the glow of the door. For example,
If the door glows in blue, you must sacrifice a Rare weapon or an item.
If the door glows in purple, you must offer an Epic weapon or an item.
That will open the first door of the secret vault.
Statue Puzzle
Once you open the door, walk inside. Find the room with statues and step in. Here, you need to activate the correct figure to open the door. It depends on the guesswork, but the one opposite to the closed door does the job in most instances.
Activating the wrong statue will rift you off the ruin, and you’ll have to enter the temple from the beginning. But at least the figure you’ve previously tried will be highlighted in red, so you won’t be tempted to try again.
Flame Puzzle
You will notice braziers When you enter the temple’s basement. And notice the pattern. Go back to the room with the puzzle and rearrange the braziers to match the basement pattern. This will allow you to access the inner vault with more precious treasure.
