König is an Operator in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0’s KorTac faction. He suffered from extreme social anxiety and was frequently bullied as a child. He enlisted in the military at the age of 17. While he planned to join as a recon sniper, his physical bulk and inability to remain still rendered him ineligible. Later, he was assigned as an insertion specialist, acting as a battering ram, charging through doors in contested areas.

König shut down an Al-Qatala group in Berlin involved in human trafficking during a mission. He broke into the townhouse and slaughtered all twelve AQ fighters inside. His sniper hood, on the other hand, horrified the Urzik prisoners, who had to be persuaded to follow König to safety by the rest of his team. By 2022, König became a contractor for the KorTac private military company.

More Information About König In Call Of Duty

Initially, König was introduced as an Austrian and a part of the Jagdkommandos, but his Operator bio stated that he was German and a member of the Bundeswehr’s Kommando Spezialkräfte. However, after the Season One update, König’s nationality was changed back to Austrian, and any mention of the Kommando Spezialkräfte was removed in Season Two.

During the Multiplayer Open Beta, König was part of the SpecGru faction. It’s worth noting that in the game files, König is referred to as Kilgore, which is interesting because “Kilgore” was the name of an operator cut from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Additionally, before the release of Season Three, König’s default skin was also called “Kilgore.”

The Biohazard skin of König is a modified version of the Chemist’s outfit, featuring a different color palette. On the other hand, the Anonymous skin of König is named after and unlocked via a phrase associated with the hacktivist group Anonymous, which identifies itself as “Anonymous” and goes by the name “Legion.”

During his Sniper Rifle use, König remarks, “And they said I could never be a sniper,” alluding to his previous denial of being a recon sniper. Upon close observation, König’s mask texture is constructed from a t-shirt. Additionally, König’s Deep Lord skin features the Zakhaev Arms logo.
