Is Cayde 6 Returning to Destiny 2?
Yes, Cayde 6 and Nathan Fillion both will return to Destiny 2. Bungie took part in the PlayStation Showcase event last May 24th, 2023, and released a teaser trailer. It was about the next chapter of Destiny 2, The Final Shape, which will unfold on August 22nd, 2023.
There, fans were amazed to see Cayde 6 chatting with Ikora Rey, Vanguard of the Warlocks. Unfortunately, Cayde 6 seems to be lost track of events. He does not know the events that have happened since his death. Finally, Ikora appears, filling him up, and says, “I wish you could have been there.” And Cayde 6 replies, looking over the horizon, “Yeah, me too, kiddo, but hey, I’m here now, whatever the hell here is….”
