Solving the Cunning Test in Imbaru Engine: Destiny 2
The cunning Test in Imbaru Engine is the task you must complete in the Mist and Mysteries weekly quest in week 5 of Destiny 2. Imbaru Engine gives Savathun part of her strength. Savathun, the Hive God of Cunning, feeds her worm through trickery and deceit. Savathun will test you through a series of cryptic puzzles in this weekly quest. If you fail during this quest, the request would be that you die.

There are a few mods that will increase the chances of you surviving. Any mod that gives and shows the exact location of the chest will be helpful. We recommend you try out the Treasure Hunter Mod or the Strand Mod.
Make your way into the Imbaru engine located above the Oubliette. Once you enter, the game will let you choose between two chests. There are five symbols next to each chest, and picking the correct one will guarantee you further.
The symbol of the chest you should choose is an X-shaped barbed wire symbol with a dagger through it. Interact with that chest, and you will progress to the next level of the game. Here, you have to interact with two correct chests out of the three that spawn. The marker on the HUD will point where to head to.

In the walkway, you will find the three chests. Two of them will have similar runes next to them. Select them. After interacting with this chest, you will enter the next level. There are far more wrong chests in this step than the correct ones. There are some specific locations of the right chests. Here are them,
- Across from you: chest will be facing away from you. You have to look on the other side to see the symbol.
- Right from you: there will be a pair of chests to the right-hand side of you. They would be stuck to a wall on the opposite side.
- Directly below: Drop down onto the floor level. And look up at the ceiling. You will see one chest on the underside of the walkway.
- On the ground to the left
- Slightly above you to the left
- Slightly above and to the right: On the hedge where the chest is present, stand in front of the chest and face the Imbaru engine. The rune will be on the right side of the hedge.
- Above the Imbaru Engine: Grapple onto the Imbaru engine, and then you will see the marking on the ceiling
