Are you wondering whether Rowlet can be shiny in Pokémon Go? Pokémon Go‘s 7th Anniversary Party is the biggest, most adventurous, and most exciting event of the year. It welcomes lots of Pokémon, and Rowlet is one among them. Rowlet will appear more during the Wild Encounters on 12th July 2023, along with other Aloa region Pokémons, Litten, and Popplio. But the big question remains. Can you get a shiny Rowlet in Pokémon Go? This guide will clear all your doubts. So, let’s jump in!
Who Is Rowlet in Pokémon Go?
Rowlet is a non-legendary Grass and Flying-type Pokémon. It was initially found in the Alola region and belonged to Generation 7. Rowlet has a Max CP of 1196, 102 ATK, 99 DEF, and 169 STA. It evolves into Dartrix with 25 Rowlet Candy, and Dartrix becomes Decidueye with 100 Rowlet Candy as its final evolution form.
Rowlet resembles a young owl with a round body and short legs. Its body is beige and white. This cute Pokémon can rotate its head 180 degrees and have excellent night vision. Rowlet likes tight, dark places and often makes the trainer’s bag a nest. You can use it in a gym. Not only that, but it is also tradeable and transferable.
Rowlet is weak against Fire, Flying, Ice, Poison, and Rock-type moves and becomes strong in Sunny and Windy weather. Its best fast moves are Tackle, Leafage, and Razor Leaf. And the best Charge Moves are Seed Bomb and Energy Ball.

Can Rowlet Be Shiny in Pokémon Go?
Unfortunately, the answer is no; you cannot catch Shiny Rowlet in Pokémon Go. Because the Shiny form of the Rowlet is not currently available in the game, not only Rowlet, all three of Alola region Pokémon, Litten Popplio, and Rowlet, cannot be seen in their shiny forms.
Trainers are confused about why shiny Alola Region Pokémon aren’t available even though the Season of Alola event has been going on for months. Also, all three are part of Pokémon Go‘s 7th anniversary Party, Wild Encounters. Many people still hope that Niantic will release the shiny Rowlet at one of the Community Day Events or at one of the other events that are already going on. But the developers of Pokémon Go haven’t confirmed it yet.
Don’t give up hope, though. Niantic has its own ideas for when and how shiny Pokémon will come out. But there is a good chance that we will see a shiny Rowlet this year. So, keep an eye on all official Pokémon Go outlets. You might be able to get the shiny one before your friend does.
Pokémon GO is available on iOS and Android.
