Team Call of Duty is planning to end the Warzone: Caldera from 21st September 2023 permanently. After this day, if you try logging in to the Caldera maps, it will show you a connection error message. Per their official blog post, all the Caldera gameplay, player progressions, inventories, and online services will also shut down from that day onwards.

However, if you have purchased any content in Warzone: Caldera through Modern Warfare 2019, Black Ops Cold War, or Vanguard, you will not lose access to those paid ones.

Warzone 2 release bought so many changes to the traditional Warzone game format. And with discontinuing the Caldera map, players will lose the chance to play Battle Royal mode. Call of Duty players have mixed feelings about this. Some agree with the decision saying Caldera was not interesting at all to play.
