Do you want to know how to turn Ranked on in Fortnite? Ranked Battle Royale matches in Fortnite are disabled as of June 20. After the new update, all the players’ ranks have been reset for this season. Ranked play is available in Solo, Duos, Trios, and squads. Battle Royale and Zero Build are available if you can switch them on. This guide will tell you how to Turn Ranked on Fortnite.
How To Enable Ranked in Fortnite
To enable Ranked again in Fortnite, you must click on the button saying “Ranked” on the right side of the lobby screen.
Anyone can play Fortnite with an Epic Games account. But if you’re joining the game with an Epic Games account that hasn’t accessed Fortnite, you must complete a quest before Ranked matches become accessible.
The matchmaking algorithm is still the same. In Solo, you will be put up against opponents of similar rank. But in Duos and Trios or even Squads, whoever has the highest rank, the algorithm will pick that rank and matchmake based on that rank.
This new update is called ” Ranked Season Zero” since everyone’s rank has become zero. There are 18 ranks in the game, so players have to progress up again. Epic has made a few changes, though. Material harvesting rates have slightly increased. Material inventories in the game have been limited to 500, and players will drop 50 of each material when eliminated.

Why Fortnite Ranked Is Disabled
As of June 20, Fortnite Ranked is disabled because Epic Games identified a problem with their servers that was causing the Ranked matches to crash multiple times.
Epic Games has been able to frame this whole incident in a positive light. They have called the new update, where the ranks of all the players have been reset, as “Ranked Season Zero.” Once the mode becomes available again, you will soon find yourself on another level than you were previously.
One unique thing about Ranked matches is that there are Urgent Quests. These quests are specific only to the Battle Royale game you’re playing. The quest objectives will change if you leave the match and join another game.
There are many rewards for completing them, including banners, emoticons, icons, and the “get in the ring” loading screen.
Fortnite is available on PC, PS4/PS5, and XBOX.
