Who is Shiny Formantis in Pokémon Go
Formantis is a non-legendary Grass-type Pokémon. It was initially found in the Alola region and belonged to Generation 7. Three Candy and 100 Stardust are the rewards for catching this beast. Formantis evolves into Lurantis during the daytime with 50 Formantis Candy. (Shiny Formantis will grow into a Shiny Lurantis) Lurantis is the only evolution upgrade of Formantis to date.
Formantis is a small plant like Pokémon with large pink eyes and a head made with green leaves. It gathers energy from sunlight and doesn’t think twice about attacking anyone who bothers its sleep. Formantis is weak against Bug, Fire, Flying, Ice, and Poison-type moves and becomes strong in Sunny weather. Its best fast moves are Fury Cutter and Razor Leaf. And best Charge Moves are Grass Knott, Leaf Blade, and Energy Ball.

Formantis and Ledyba, Murkrow, Solrock, Drifloon, Purrloin, Sewaddle, Cottonee, and Petilil will appear more frequently in the wild during the day. Also, you can find it at night among Oddish, Spinarak, Misdreavus, Lunatone, Stunky, Venipede, Foongus, and Phantump on Wild Encounter Day.

Formantis and its shiny version will appear in one-star raids during the event. Sneasel, Hisuian Sneasel, and Rockruff are the other Pokémon to spawn during one-star raid hours.
