This guide will tell you where to find the Apparatus in Fortnite.
Where Can the Apparatus Be Found in Fortnite?
In Fortnite, the Apparatus can be found on the roof of the building where you found the Prism. Once you get the Prism, You will receive further instructions to take it to the Apparatus and give it to a non-player character named Trace.
All you need to do is get to the small temple’s roof. You find the Prism and see the Non-Player character waiting for your arrival. You need to interact with him to hand over the Prism. After you hand over the Prism, your quest is complete. Trace is a Battle Pass skin for the new season and an NPC inside the Battle Royale map.
There’s a possibility that the Apparatus may turn hostile and try to kill you. However, Although Trace is a bot, it is relatively easy to beat. However, you can continue chatting with it even after defeating it.

Where Is the Prism That Will Help You Find the Apparatus in Fortnite?
First, you need to find the Prism. The new season has added three new points of interest. Rumble Ruins, Shady Shifts, and Creeky Compound. The Prism is crafted using Kinetic Ore, which can be discovered by heading east from Rumble Ruin to a small temple. Once you make it there, you need to enter through the western entrance of the Apparatus and look for the Prism on the bottom floor. You will find the Purple Prism waiting on an altar. Walk close to it and hold square/X/E (depending on what controller you’re using) to collect it.
Because the Prism and the NPC are so close together that it makes this a super-easy mission, but the game hasn’t made things very clear for players on where they need to go and what they need to do. So, completing this simple mission will get you 20,000 XP.
Fortnite is available on PC, PS4/PS5, and XBOX.
