You can get a Mega Ganger in Pokémon Go by catching a regular Gengar after a Raid Battle and then Mega-evolving it with 200 Mega energy. Players can participate in the Raid Battles to catch the Gengar Raid Boss from the 6th of October, 2023, to the 20th of October, 2023.
Players can get a shiny Mega Gengar by catching a shiny Gengar and then later evolving it into a shiny Mega Gengar. Winning a single Raid Battle will not guarantee the encounter of Shiny type, and instead, you have to compete in multiple raid battles to get the shiny variant.
