What Are Destiny 2 Season 22 Artifact Mods? Explained

Do you want to know about Destiny 2 season 22 Artifact Mods? Before Destiny 2’s latest Season 22 release, Destiny 2 developer Bungie shared a blog post about Artifact mods. The players can get some idea about the following season from this information. Also, players can expect a new gameplay mechanic in the next season. We will tell you about the Artifact mods that Bungie has shared details about in this guide.

Artifact Mods Of Destiny 2 Season 22

According to a Bungie blog post, one of the critical features of the Season 22 artifact is the introduction of the new Elemental Orbs mechanic, inspired by the Tangles on Strand subclasses from the Lightfall expansion.

Light-aligned versions of Tangles, with different effects based on the subclass used, are Elemental Orbs. Players can generate these orbs by defeating enemies with Arc, Solar, or Void weapons. They can then pick them up and throw them at enemies to apply subclass-based debuffs. Several artifact mods focus on creating and destroying these new Elemental Orbs, improving their efficiency and giving them extra effects.

In addition to Elemental Orbs, players will also find a variety of other mods in the Season 22 artifact. These include mods for dealing with Champions, debuffing enemies, bolstering certain weapons, and more.
