Do you want to know everything about Deep Dive in Destiny 2? Deep dive is one of the new activities players can do in the game, solo or trios, but many don’t know how to progress through them. The deep dive is part of the aquatic-themed season. There’s also fishing. This guide will tell you everything about Deep Dive in Destiny 2.
What Are Deep Dive and Deep Dive Keys in Destiny 2?
It’s a seasonal activity that sends players under the ocean of Titan to extract the power Sloane needs to reconnect with Ahsa.
Players can do this activity alone or in a group of three. Players will progress further the deeper they descend into the ocean. You will see air bubbles throughout the path down. You must use them to stay alive.
Players will have random encounters when they descend into the ocean. After descending to the ocean floor, players must fight the boss. But for now, the boss fight is unavailable since that floor isn’t open to the public.
Even when it’s unlocked to the public, there is some confusion about defeating the boss since it’s a time-limited activity. Players can’t spend so much time under the water. So there’s some confusion relating to that matter.
You can find Deep dive keys at the end of a Deep Dive activity in a Deep Chest. But before that, you must complete ritual activities and rank up the season pass vendor in the H.E.L.M.

Pressure Trials, Plant, and Statue Locations in Deep Dive of Destiny 2
The Deep Dive has pressure trials, plants, and statues deep in the ocean. Most of these can be found deep in the ocean.
Pressure Trials
The game doesn’t clearly state how to activate pressure trials, even in the activity description. To activate a Pressure trial, you must find Toland. Toland is a glowing spirit of Taken essence. When you activate him, you must destroy floating blights or stand on top of glowing pressure blights.
Once you receive a message saying “Darkness invoked,” then the activity is done. After that, you only need to complete the regular encounter quickly to trigger the Pressure trial.
Plants
There are four types of Plants in the deep dive.
One is Twilight Plant. You can find it when you open the door to the underwater caves, go straight ahead, then left, turn right, and crouch through the small gap to find the plant.
The second one is Twilight Flora. You can find it at the end of the underwater cave section; you will find a big room with many underwater plants. Go to the right side of the room, where you will find the Twilight Flora.
The third one is the Midnight plant. After dropping into the underwater facility, you will encounter a second drop with a moving fan. On the right of the platform, you will find a hatch. Go through it into a corridor that has this plant on the walls.
The last one is the Midnight Flora. You have to switch off the fan and drop through the blades into the cave area to find it. Look behind the stone pillar, and you will find enough to harvest.
Location of the Statues
There are three statues in the Deep Dive. The first one you will see at 750 meters, after diving and unlocking the door. The second one you will find after the first encounter that you will have after planting the Egregore Resonator. The third one is at 2000 meter depth, in the underwater traversal section.
You can find Destiny 2 on P.C., PS4/PS5, and Xbox.
