You can find him east of NPC Blacksmith in the Kyovashad area. The quest begins when you start the conversation with him. You need to be in Level 1 or above to enable this quest.

- Find the Strange Beggar in the Kyovashad area.
You cannot find him there if the quest is not open. - Try to offer some coins to the beggar and start the conversation.
He will not accept your money but instead, tell you his fears “… a great calamity is about to unfold in the northern reaches. The door is in danger.” Then, he’ll continue more, saying that the door was sealed for a reason and some evil monster is trying to break it open and ask for your help. - Find the highlighted blue circle on the map and move towards it.
You will have to fight many battles before reaching your destination. And each fight will give you chances to earn gold and accessories. - Reach the Hoary Gate.
You can find it in the northeast section of the circle. Follow the bridge out of Kyovashad and take the northeast road. If you have come across the Black Asylum, then you are in the right way. Keep heading north, and then you’ll find your destination. - Kill Seth Ryott: the Death Priest, to complete the quest.
There you will find the Death Priest trying to break the door. Now it’s your turn to fight against the evil and defeat him.
Completing the quest will give you 7,192XP and 840 gold coins, and a Leather Cache. The Cache contains an assortment of durable and flexible leather. You can use it in armor and tool production. Also, you will get the Region Progress Reward with 25,000 gold as Bonus XP and 1 Skill Point.
