So that they can resurrect from that point if they lose a life during the raid. These checkpoints are proper if Guardians want to leave the game in the middle and wish to continue from that point onwards at a later time. How to Use Checkpoint Bots in Destiny 2?

There are a few simple steps to use Checkpoints in Destiny 2.

  1. Visit the D2Checkpoint.com
  2. Choose the Boss and the Activity area you want to participate in and note the specific number.
  3. Load Destiny 2 on your device and open the Chat. Hit ‘Enter‘ to open Chat on a PC and right on the pad ‘D‘ on PlayStation and Xbox.
  4. Click in the Chat Box, type ‘/join,’ and paste the code you got from the D2Checkpoint site.
    E.g.,/join/CheckpointBot#0422
  5. That will grant you the Fireteam access. Once you join the team, start the encounter and wipe.
  6. Completing the Wipe once will give you Checkpoint access. Now you can leave the area and return to Orbit.

Currently, there are six Bosses and eight Activity Areas. Below are the codes and names of the areas as of 30th May 2023

Keep in mind to follow these unspoken rules. You are not allowed to clear an encounter unless you are a Guardian. And Guardians are not permitted to use these Fireteams to level weapons or unlock an Exotic Catalyst in Destiny 2. If you plan to use a Checkpoint later, you must rest the current activity before joining the new one. For example, if you have Taniks Checkpoint and join Oryx without resetting, you’ll still be assigned to Taniks. So join, wipe, and leave ASAP. Failure to do so might block your account from all Checkpoints.
