- Gather 3 Kindling by completing Event Challenges that offer them as rewards.
- Add as much Kindling as possible to any glowing armor to create a spark.
- Give a Spark to a piece of fully reignited Candescent armor.
- Visit Eva Levante in the Tower.

To access the Rekindle the Spark task in Destiny 2, Guardians must complete two tasks: Celebrating Solstice and A Guardian in Shining Armor. To begin Celebrating Solstice, Guardians can visit Eva Levante in the Tower and obtain a suit of candescent armor as a gift. Once that quest is completed, A Guardian in Shining Armor becomes available with similar steps. After completing A Guardian in Shining Armor, players will be offered the Rekindle the Spark quest.
Completing the Rekindle the Spark quest will require more time than the previous two. This is because the quest requires participants to infuse completely reignited Candescent gear.
