Do you want to know how to complete Whetstone Mission in Destiny 2? For Season of the Deep, players can finally start getting their hands on the Wicked Implement, an Exotic Scout Rifle. To get this Scout Rifle, you must complete the Whetstone mission. This is why most players want to complete the Whetstone mission. This guide will tell you how to complete Whetstone Mission in Destiny 2.
Completing Whetstone Mission in Destiny 2
To complete the Whetstone mission in Destiny 2, you must defeat the final boss, which is a powerful Tormentor.
Before you start the mission, you must unlock it by activating all three Thrall Hive Statues. For that, you must catch plenty of Exotic fish. Fortunately, only one player in your fireteam has to do it on behalf of everyone else.
You must complete the secret mission once they have activated all three statues. There will be a new door to the right of the exit door. To open this door, all the fire team players must interact with the Hive Statues in the corridor. Once the barrier drops, you can proceed. But make sure to adjust your loadout because the next part is challenging, and if you die, you will have to do this all over again.
The next part is the final boss. We recommend you use precision-heavy weapons like machine guns. Ammo will be scarce as well. The Divinity Exotic Trace Rifle can easily damage the Tormentor, so if anyone in your team has it, use it.

Rewards for Completing Whetstone Mission in Destiny 2
The reward for completing the Whetstone mission is the Wicked Implement Exotic Scout Rifle.
This Exotic Scout Rifle does one hundred and forty rounds per minute. It also has an intrinsic perk called the Creeping Attrition. This perk causes rapid precision hits to slow targets. This weapon has an Exotic perk as well.
This exotic perk is called the Tithing Harvest. The perk causes kills on enemies slowed by the intrinsic perk and spawns a Stasis Shard, which returns to the player. The unique thing about this Shard is that it reloads the Wicked Implement when it returns to the player. So using these two perks together is the best thing to do when using this Rifle.
It’s important to note that it doesn’t do that much damage, but it’s good enough to use when enemies die quickly. But using it for challenging fights is not recommended.
Destiny 2 is available on PS4/ PS5, Xbox, and PC.
