Using the screen tools
The tools are free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. They run in your browser and are provided as they are.
Some tools flash colors rapidly. Don’t use them if you have photosensitive epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing light. Stop right away if you feel unwell.
The tools show you how your screen displays test patterns. They don’t certify a screen as defective or fault-free, and a result isn’t a guarantee that a seller or manufacturer will accept a return or warranty claim.
Guides and information
Our guides are general information. We work to keep them accurate and current, but devices and software change and mistakes happen. Following a fix is your choice and your risk. Check the manufacturer’s instructions and warranty terms first, and don’t open a device or use pressure methods if you’re not sure. We aren’t responsible for damage, data loss or voided warranties that result from following a guide.
