Call of Duty Celebrates 50 Years of Hip Hop With Nicki Minaj
Activision released a blog article on 27th July 2023 with information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5, which will come live on 2nd August 2023. The new season comes with free content, weapons, maps, and more. The highlight of the season is the entrance of Nicky Minaj, Snoop Dog, and 21 Savage as operators.
This is aligned with the 50 years of Hip Hop celebration in the Call of Duty franchise. Famous singer and rapper Nicky Minaj will team up with Call of Duty as the first ever self-named female Operator. Also, she will have her own Store Bundle, which can be handy across Battle Royal, DMZ, Multiplayer, and Single Operations. The price of the bundle is not confirmed yet.
This is the second time Nicky has stepped into Call of Duty. We have already seen her in 2022. However, Nicky will be doing her own voice this time, which is worth waiting for.
Call of Duty With Snoop Dog and 21 Savage (Mid-Season)
Not only Nicky Minaj, Snoop Dog, and 21 Savage will feature as Operators in the upcoming season. We saw Snoop Dog way back in April 2014 as he lent his voice to one of the first ever Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer Voice Packs. Then he re-appeared in the 2022 World War 2 form as an operator for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone.
This time also, he returns as an Operator and is all set to win any operation. Snoop Dog Bundle will be available in the store, and the price is yet to be published. Activision will drop more information in the Battle Pass, Bundles, and BlackCell blog before the launch of the season.
21 Savage also will appear as an Operator. He is known to be a savage killer. The operator bundle featuring 21 Savage will drop as a part of the Reload Offerings.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 are available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
