How to complete Operation Fulgurite in Destiny 2?
To complete Operation Fulgurite, you must defeat Kelgorath, Take from Bones, and extract the coral.
Here are all the steps to Completing Operation Fulgurite:
- Flip both the switches in the Methane area
- Complete the Egregore Resonator section
- Defeat Kelgorath, Taken from Bones.
The first part of the mission is to clear out some enemies and immediately find the switches. You will find the first switch on the wall between the two doors. It would be best if you jumped down, then you could see the button on the wall in the middle.
The second switch is at the back of the artificial pillar. You can find this fake pillar down the red corridor near the back of the room.
The Egregore Resonator section is where you fight off multiple waves of enemies. Only after finishing all waves can you continue. After defeating all the enemies, they Dunk their Egregore coral in the pods around the room. You must do this three times to move on to the Boss fight. Once the boss fight is done and you extract the coral, you have completed the mission.

Once you have made it to the boss fight, you might find it challenging to complete the Boss fight. Here’s everything you need to know to make things easier for you.
Kelgorath, Taken from Bones, has only three damage phases. In each of the three damages phases, you must destroy 2 Taken Orbs from the room’s top, bottom, left, and right. Surviving this fight takes a while. It’s more of a waiting game.
The key to surviving the fight is to take some time to clear the ads. Adds are the minions or “easy targets” that don’t deal much damage but, with a big enough army, have the potential to finish you off. It would be best to eliminate all the ads, so it’s easier for you to defeat the Boss. Otherwise, it will get pretty overwhelming after a certain point, and it’s straightforward to die then, and you would have to restart. Make sure to extract the coral, and you’ve finished Operation Fulgurite.
