Destiny 2 New Cutscene: Who Is Winnower

Do you want to know in Destiny 2 New Cutscene: Who Is Winnower? Destiny 2: Season of the Deep Week 5 shares one of the essential cutscenes in the story: every player is curious, which has come a long way from simply being about Light versus Darkness. The introduction of Pyramid Ships, the Witness, and the mysterious Veil have led to numerous guesses. However, after the launch of Destiny 2’s Season of the Deep, players can determine one of the most meaningful cutscenes in the game’s history. This guide answers your question; who is Winnower in Destiny 2 New Cutsence?

Who Is Winnower In Destiny 2 New Cutscene?

The Winnower is the Traveler’s Darkness counterpart. During the cutscene’s description of this Golden Age, these people built the ominous Pyramid Ships that have threatened players since Destiny 2’s Red War campaign ended. But after “eons” of prosperity, the people grew tired of The Traveler’s silence and demanded that it give them further guidance. This led the people to search for an entity that The Gardener shared a connection with, The Winnower or, in other words, The Veil.

This is the most critical uncovered cutscene in Destiny 2. Bungie has long teased players about the identities of the prime forces of Light and Darkness — calling one The Gardner and the other The Winnower — and Guardians have spent years speculating who or what they could be. Now everyone knows that The Gardener is The Traveler (a being of pure Light) and The Winnower is The Veil (the Traveler’s Darkness counterpart). The Veil introduced them to the Darkness, a magical power shaped by consciousness, and led them to a discovery that could cut existence into a final shape.

The Witness people discovered The Veil, and in return, it taught them about Light and Dark nature. They believed Light could create chaos and tame it, creating the universe called The Final Shape. However, when they tried to use The Veil to tame The Traveler, the orb abandoned them. Unable to accept their Final Shape, they used The Darkness to merge into The Witness, who chases The Traveler through the cosmos to impose meaning on a meaningless universe. The cutscene ends with an image of the merged Traveler and Veil, which happened at the end of the Lightfall campaign. Bungi were able to describe successfully all the details within three and a half minutes in Destiny 2 Light and Darkness saga.
