In Cyberpunk 2077, still, you can not play multiplayer mode. CD Projekt Red announced before Cyberpunk 2077 that they would get a multiplayer mode and are also working on the development process.
Even after three years, we still have to wait to play multiplayer mode in Cyberpunk 2077. When the initial release comes, CD Projekt plans to introduce multiplayer functionality. But still, if you want to play multiplayer mode in Cyberpunk 2077, there is an option. A group of modders named CyberScript is developing a multiplayer mode for Cyberpunk 2077. This mod is still not published, but they share some test footage.
The Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update doesn’t have multiplayer mode, but don’t give up your hopes. In the future, maybe we can play multiplay together in Cyberpunk 2077‘s 3.0 update.

The CD Projekt introduced new modes and features with the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update.
- Reworked Perks System: The Attribute and Character Perk skill trees have significantly changed, resulting in more tailored perks that align with individual playstyles. Additionally, a brand new Relic tree, exclusive to the Phantom Liberty expansion, offers thrilling new bonuses.

- Updated Ripperdoc Interactions: How we interact with Ripperdocs has recently been updated.
- Updated Police AI: The police’s AI system has undergone enhancements.
