Noxious Swamp Event is a timed event from August 19 to August 22. During this period, many Pokémon species will be available for the trainer, with heavy attention on poison and dragon-type Pokémon species. And in the event, focus will be given to Skrelp as his shiny form is added to the game during this event.
Here is a list of Pokémon species you can expect in the Noxious Swamp Timed Research event and what you need to do to encounter them,
- Skrelp encounter – Power up the Pokémon 15 times
- Alolan Grimer encounter – Battle in 3 raids
- Trapinch encounter – Use 15 Supereffective charged attacks
- Druddigon encounter – Win 2 raids using a team of all unique Pokémon species
- Hisuian Qwillfish encounter – Win a 3-star raid using only Pokémon with 2500 CP or less.
Upon completion of these tasks, the rewards you will earn are,
- Jangmo Encounter
- 50 Salamence Mega energy
- 50 Sceptile Mega energy
If you can use Pinap Berry when catching Jangmo , you can have a probability to increase the amount of Candy you earn during the event bonuses.
