- Altar of Summoning: After completing the mission
- Savathun’s Spire: After completing the mission
- Behind the tree in the Back of the Athenaeum
- Toil and Trouble Seasonal Quest
- The Bladed Path Seasonal Quest

Destiny 2 Opaque Cards and How Do They Work
There are two types of Opaque cards in the Season of the Witch: Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. Once you receive an opaque card, it will take time to identify them separately. There is only one successful method in determining them: when you obtain a card, return to the Lectern of Divination through the HELM, open the deck of whispers, and interact with the card. Then, it will show whether it is a major or minor arcana.
You need to collect at least five of each card to form a deck of cards. Once you’ve created a deck of cards, the Altar of Summoning and Savathun’s Spire encounter will randomly select one Major Arcana from your cards before the encounter.

Major arcana cards offer;
- Chance to drop off heavy ammo
- Regenerate Health and shields for rapidly defeating enemies
- Dropping special ammo
Minor Arcana cards offer;
- Single-use Perks, items, or upgrades
If the players visit the Ritual table at HELM more often, as prestige rewards for increasing their reputation, among the rewards, there might be Opaque cards, too.
