How To Get Bloodmoon Ursaluna in Scarlet Violet DLC

Do you want to know how to get Bloodmoon Ursaluna in Scarlet Violet DLC? The Scarlet & Violet Teal Mask DLC for Pokémon has brought in a host of new and old Pokémon, along with fresh forms for some of them. Among the new additions is the Bloodmoon Ursaluna, a variant of Ursaring that is only accessible through a quest. This guide will help unlock the Bloodmoon Ursaluna in the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Teal Mask DLC.

Scarlet Violet DLC: How To Get Bloodmoon Ursaluna

To start the Bloodmoon Ursaluna quest,

  1. You must capture 150 Pokémon from the Kitakami Pokedex.
  2. Once you have done this, head to Mossui Town and speak with Perrin, a photographer at the east entrance.
  3. Show her that you have caught 150 Pokémon, and she will initiate a quest line with you.
  4. You can find Perrin in the Timeless Woods by following the indicator on your map.
  5. Speak with her again, and she will give you the second step of the quest – to take ten pictures of the different Pokémon she specified.
  6. After taking the tenth photo, a giant Bloodmoon Ursaluna will appear, leading to a Titan-style battle with you.

The fight against Bloodmoon Ursaluna is like any other Titan battle, but knowing its weaknesses is crucial to gaining an advantage.

The good news is that the catch rate is 100%, so you can choose any Pokéball you prefer to acquire your own Bloodmoon Ursaluna.

How To Battle With Bloodmoon Ursaluna

When preparing for battle against Bloodmoon Ursaluna, it’s important to note that this Pokémon has both Ground and Normal-type attributes. Knowing its strengths and weaknesses can give you an advantage in selecting the right Pokémon for the fight. Ground types are vulnerable to Water, Ice, and Fighting moves, while Normal types are weak against Fighting moves. Bringing a Water or Fighting-type Pokémon on your team can be brilliant.

The fight against Bloodmoon Ursaluna is a Titan battle, meaning it’s a more formidable challenge than a typical Pokémon battle. However, the rules remain unchanged – you must reduce its health to zero to win. Once you’ve achieved this, you’ll have the opportunity to catch it.

Bloodmoon Ursaluna’s signature move is called Blood Moon, a powerful Normal-type attack with a strength of 140. However, this move can only be used once before needing to recharge. Ursaluna’s ability, Mind’s Eye, makes up for this by preventing its accuracy from being lowered and enabling it to hit Ghost-types with Normal and Fighting-type moves. Consider this when planning your strategy.
