Here are the steps to complete the quest:
- Find Reede, the mayor of Hateno Village, and talk to him inside his home on the hill.
- Investigate the history of cheese in Hateno Village to help Reede create a new signature food.
- Find Koyin, the granddaughter of the cheesemaker who worked with Reede’s grandfather, on a dock outside Hateno Town at the bottom of Lake Sumac.
- Talk to Koyin to start the “A Letter to Koyin” quest.
- Look straight out from the dock at Lake Sumac to find a bottle floating in the water containing the key to the cheese.
- Extend the dock using materials found in the environment, such as logs from trees and wooden planks, to create a path to the bottle with Ultrahand.
- Grab the bottle and bring it near Koyin.
- After giving Koyin the bottle, follow her inside her house by the lake, talk to her again to receive a cheese sample, and open her more extensive shop.
- Trade milk to get more cheese or buy more from Koyin.
- Return to Reede’s house, talk to him again, and hand over the cheese to complete the “A New Signature Food” questline.
- Receive a Silver Rupee worth 100 regular rupees from Reede as a reward for completing the quest.
