Destiny 2: How To Get Guiding Sight Scout Rifle and Its God Roll

Do you want to know how to get Guiding Sight Scout Rifle and its God Roll in Destiny 2? This gun is a Scout Rifle in the Iron Banner loot pool. The Guiding Sight has a High Impact Frame, which means it has slow fire and high damage. This gun was in the game a few seasons ago and has now returned. This guide will tell you how to get Guiding Sight Scout Rifle and its God Roll in Destiny 2.

How To Get a Guiding Sight Scout Rifle in Destiny 2?

To get the Guiding Sight Scout Rifle in Destiny 2, you have to complete the Iron Banner quest.

In Season of the Hunt, an Iron Banner quest is called Slaying Dragons. You will receive this weapon right when you reach the halfway point of this quest. But you still can’t get the drop of this weapon yet.

You must complete the quest and hand the tokens to Lord Saladin for the drop. Then you might have a chance of getting the drop. So it’s not guaranteed that you get this gun when you complete the quest.

The Guiding Sight is known to be an acquired taste weapon because of the High Impact Frame. Many players are not used to slow firing. But it’s pretty helpful once you get the hang of it.

The Guiding Sight God Roll In Destiny 2

For the God Roll of The Guiding Sight, use Cleanshot as the barrel and Richochet Rounds as the Magazine.

The Cleanshot Barrel gives the player a slight zoom in sight and increases the range of gunfire by five points, which makes the total range seventy-three points. This barrel also improves handling considerably, and this gun needs it to control the vertical recoil.

The Richochet Rounds increase the range that the bullets go. The Magazine is much bigger, and since the fire rate is slow, you don’t have to reload too often. This Magazine also increases stability.

The First Perk to use for this gun is the Slideshot. This means that when you slide, the gun will partly reload the gun’s Magazine and temporarily boosts range and stability. This perk has to be used if you’re also going to use the second perk.

The Second Perk is Iron Grip. This perk improves weapon Stability. But it costs you your reload speed. Reload speed of the gun dropped drastically because of this perk. So don’t use this perk unless you’re also rolling with the first perk.
