To complete the Round and Round We Go challenge. You must generate 1000 orbs of Power in Ritual activities. The game says we must collect 1000 orbs, but for some reason, collecting 1000 orbs won’t be enough to complete the challenge.
Many players have complained on Reddit that they give about four strikes and generate about thirty to fifty orbs on each strike; however, the progress bar only moves about four or five percent. So we have estimated that it’s more than one thousand orbs, but it might be even higher.
Most players have realized that this will take a long time to complete, and others have decided to leave it in the background and meet other challenges instead. You’re supposed to generate these orbs of Power in Vanguard, Gambit, or Crucible Playlists.
One Destiny 2 player commented that they played six Gambit matches and only made a 2% percent progress on this challenge, which shows that we will probably have to collect more orbs than 1000.

The Round and Round We Go challenge in Destiny 2 is one of the weekly challenges at the beginning of this new Season: Season of the Witch.
New Season means a new battle pass and new items to collect and show off. But to collect them, you need a lot of XP. That is why players are given weekly challenges to earn XP at the beginning of the new Season. For example, the Round and Round We Go challenge provides a player with 25,000 XP for completing it.
Players collect XP to unlock more items in the battle pass and use them in the game. More challenges like the Go Big (Fish) or Go Home, Under Pressure, and Into the Depths VI exist. For each challenge that players can complete, they get 25000 XP every time.
