Completing The Metamorphosis Attunement in Destiny 2
After you’ve completed the first week of The Bladed Path quest, you have to return to the H.E.L.M. space. Once in the H.E.L.M. space, you will be asked to pick an element. The first step to completing the Metamorphosis Attunement is choosing the Solar Element.
Steps to completing the Metamorphosis Attunement in Destiny 2 Season of the Witch,
- Complete the First week of ‘The Bladed Path’ quest.
- Select Solar as the element at H.E.L.M.
- Defeat the combatants using the element you’ve selected.
- Head to the lost sector and takedown the Hive elemental ruins.
Complete The First Week Of ‘The Bladed Path’ Quest
- Follow The Bladed Path quest in the first week.
- Complete these tasks for the first week of The Bladed Path quest.
Select Solar as The Element at H.E.L.M.
- Return to the H.E.L.M. space after completing the first week of the quest.
- Then, in the H.E.L.M., you are asked to choose an element.
- Choose Solar as your element out of the three elements because Metamorphosis attunement is only available for Solar elements.
Defeat The Combatants Using the Element You’ve Selected
- After you’ve selected the element of choice, in this case, the Solar part, defeat combatants using the feature chosen damage type.
- You can defeat enemies from Savathun’s throne or in seasonal quests. Defeating powerful combatants will give you extra bonuses.
- When defeating these elements, match the weapon and subclass corresponding with your selected component.

Head To the Lost Sector and Takedown Hive Elemental Ruins
- Once you are set, you’ll be asked to head to the Lost Sector in Throne World. The location of the lost industry will be based on the element you’ve selected. The solar element will lead you to the Metamorphosis Lost sector, located in the Miasma region of the Throne World in the north.
- Once you head into the Lost Sector, there will be few enemy encounters upon arrival—take down all the enemies in the Lost Sector before progressing further.
- After you’ve taken down all the enemies, solve the riddle inside the room. Then, shoot the five Hive Elemental Runes using the solar elemental damage, which will appear after completing the riddle. Elemental ruins are emblems placed on walls, with an outer ring the same color as your chosen element.
- After you’ve completed taking down all five elemental runes, an intractable ritual will spawn in front of the exit gate. When you interact with the ritual, the Metamorphosis Attunement will be completed.
