You must link your in-game settings to your Pokémon GO Plus + device to access a unique Special Research story. After connecting your Pokémon GO Plus+ to the game, you can participate in Special Research and have the opportunity to encounter a Shiny Munna.
You can encounter the rare Shiny Munna in the wild if you are lucky. It’s important to remember that the Special Research will still be accessible even after the Catching Some Z’s event has concluded and can be redeemed at any time.

Munna is a Gen 5 Psychic-type cute Pokémon initially found in the Unova region. This creature is also known as “Dream Eater Pokémon.” It is weak to Bugs, Dark, and Ghost-type moves.
