Does The First Descendant Beta Progress Carry Over

Are you wondering if The First Descendant Beta progress will carry over? Nexon, the developer, released the beta version of “The First Descendant” a few days ago. The fans, already excited, eagerly anticipate the official release and the experience it will deliver. But for all the beta players, a question is lingering in their minds. Would their progression in the game carry over to the official game? In this guide, you will be able to learn everything you need to know about whether The First Descendant beta progress carries over.

Does the Beta Progress Carry Over in The First Descendant

The beta version of The First Descendant was open to play from 19 September 2023 to 25 September 2023. In the beta version, players can immerse themselves in the first 17 minutes of gameplay and other engaging activities. However, it’s crucial to note that any progress achieved during beta play won’t transfer to the official game upon release.

Developers choose this approach to ensure a fair start at the official game launch in early 2024. They urge players to master controls, understand mechanics, and hone weapon skills. This readies them for the grand release.

The developers stated that, despite not allowing players to carry over their progress, they would grant additional rewards upon the official game’s release. Nexon says they will give beta players a special emote and three default Descendants, Viessa, Lepic, and Ajax skins.

If the players complete the Void Intercept Battle in hard mode, they will obtain one special spawn effect. And if the players can get to level 20, they will receive a bear-shaped back trophy. This backpack is shaped like a polar bear cub opening a soda can.

Players have a chance to earn extra rewards. After the beta ends, players who complete the crossplay beta open survey will receive a pigtail head skin called “Trendsetter.” To receive all these rewards, players must log in with the same account they used during the beta. This must be done once the official game is released.
