In this season, the Savathun’s Ghost, Immaru, approaches the guardians with bargaining to resurrect the Witch Queen Savathun and help to defeat her sister Xivu Arath, the Hive God of War. Upon the success of the guardians beating her, Savathun will reveal the secret of how to follow the witness through the portal inside the Traveler.
Here are some other exciting features of the Season of The Witch in Destiny 2,
- Altars of Summoning is a three-player mode where players will fill a Hive tithing bucket to be chased out and earn rewards.
- Savathun’s Spire is a three-player mode with random encounters, and wave-killing PvE mode will teach the players to wield magic from Savathun’s tower.
- Deck of Whispers is a new system of game progression. Players can collect cards to construct a deck that they can use to earn perks on the battlefield.
- A new exotic mission Vox Obsecura will be available where Dead Mans Tale’s exotic weapon can be crafted.
- Statis aspects and fragments moved to the vendor system.
- Three new strand aspects will debut, Whirling Maelstrom for Hunter, the Banner of War for Titans, and Weavewalk for Warlocks.

Exotic Armor in Season of The Witch
The new season of Destiny 2 will introduce three new pieces of exotic armor.
- Briarbands
- Mothkeeper’s Wrath
- Pygrogate Gauntlets
Briarbands are Warlock exotic armor that allows players to gather Void Souls and deploy them as needed.
Mothkeepers Wrath is Hunter’s exotic armor. This hunter’s grenade becomes a cage of loyal moths that blast on impact and protect allies.
Titan armor users employ Pyrogate gauntlets to unleash Solar flame cyclones.
Armour Sets in the Season of The Witch
There are two armor sets available.
- Thaumaturgic Seasonal armor set, in which the threads can be imbued with the strength of eons.
- Season Univeral Ornamnet armour set, which can be applied to any armour slot
Weapons in the Season of The Witch
At the launch of the new season, the weapon Ex-Diris will be available. This is a grenade launcher that can unleash rage-filled destruction.
There will be new seasonal weapon sets like in other seasons, including a machine gun, hand cannon, sniper rifle, and rocket launcher.
