If you are lucky, you can encounter the rare Shiny Froakie in the wild. Also, to get Froakie in Pokémon Go, players can catch it as a wild spawn. Currently, it is not available in the egg pool or Raids. Although not a rare spawn, it typically appears near bodies of water in the game.
You can have the below event bonuses in the August Community Day event.
- 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last three hours.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.

Froakie is a Gen 6 Water-type cute Pokémon initially found in the Kalos region. It is weak to Electric and Grass-type moves. Froakie’s best moves in Pokémon Go are Pound and Surf. You can turn Shiny Froakie to its next step, Frogadier, with 25 Candies. With 100 Candies, Frogadier will become Greninja. The catch rewards for this creature will be three candies and 100 Stardust. Moreover, the cost to unlock the additional charge move is 25 candies and 100000 Stardust.
It evolves into Frogadier starting at level 16, which evolves into Greninja starting at level 36.
