Where To Find Grapple Glove In Fortnite

Grapple Glove is finally back in Fortnite on the OG map, thanks to the November 9 update. It allows you to swing between trees and buildings deftly. Of course, we also have Shock Jetpack and The Baller. However, the Grapple Glove was a game-changer since it was one of the best items to travel faster on the Fortnite map, especially with its 30 uses. Although it was vaulted unexpectedly, Grapple Glove is back in Chapter 4, Season 5, and here is where you can find it in Fortnite OG.

How to Obtain the Grapple Glove in Fortnite OG

You can find Grapple Glove in Fortnite OG from Rift Encounters, which spawns randomly on the map. This makes it difficult to find since it is not a guaranteed spawn. Last time, players could discover the Grapple Glove in Chests and Floor Loot scattered throughout the island. This time around, it is only available through the Rift Encounters.

How To Use Grapple Glove In Fortnite

To use the Grapple Glove in your inventory, aim it at a suitable surface like a structure or tree. Then, hit the shot button, and the glove will swing you forward. Keep going by shooting at another character. Remember, each Grapple Glove has 30 shots and a brief cooldown after each use. If you’re familiar with the Spider-Verse Web Shooters, you’ll find that the Grapple Glove works similarly. However, remember that it takes more shots to keep up your momentum than web shooters.

Here are some tips on how to use the Grapple Glove:

  • To start, aim and fire at a solid object, such as a mountain, building, or tree. Next, you can add up to three swings, boosting your velocity with each one. Once you complete all three swings, you will reach peak speed and maintain it.
  • If you miss a shot and land on the ground, you have limited time to reshoot the hook and continue swinging.
  • If you slide out of a swing, your time window is extended.
  • You’ll have to wait for a cooldown if the timer runs out.
  • Swinging around an object might keep you hooked for a long time.
  • You can use the Grapple Glove to drag stuff toward you but remember, you don’t have endless charges.
