Typically, before a new season, the servers get an extended downtime. So that they can rise and prepare vigorously for the upcoming new season; this time, the extended downtime is named #NightNight.
Some suggest the live event will be in single-player mode and explain the new storyline for the players. This was the concept of the last Live Event Epic Games had in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6.

To this time, there is no official announcement from Fortnite about the event starting time. However, if we check the past, Fortnite usually publishes that info a few hours before the event’s end. So, we have a few more hours before getting the official announcement because the Fortnite brand new season, Chapter 4 Season 3, will begin on 9th June 2023. Considering all this, we can predict the Live Event will happen on 9th June 2023 at around 4 am Eastern time. (Assuming the new season launch will happen around 6-7 am Eastern time)
