Fortnite Rise of Midas questline includes five quests, which will be rolled out in different chapters. The latest quest of this ques line is the ‘Jules vs. The Golden Touch’ quest. Also, the first challenge of this quest is to damage opponents under the effect of the River Styx. But you must first find and get the River Styx effect in Fortnite to complete this quest. It is a straightforward challenge; I’m sure many of you have done it multiple times. The only thing is Epic Games has confused us with a new name.
What Is River Styx and Where To Find It in Fortnite?

River Styx is the green water around The Underworld and Grim Gate. You must visit these locations and also get its effect. Also, the only difference is that the liquid is called “Rive Styx.” The quest related to the River Styx is called “Damage opponents while under the effect of the River Styx.” You need to do 300 damage to an opponent to win the reward.

How To Damage Opponents While Under the Effect of the River Styx in Fortnite
You can get the River Styx effect by jumping into the green liquid around The Underworld in Fortnite. Once you jump, you will get the River Styx effect and be able to dash. Press the jump button twice to dash; you can only use the effect thrice. To complete the quest, follow the steps below.
- Land near The Underworld or any closer area where the River Styx is located.
- Jump into the green liquid and get the River Styx effect.
- Find an opponent, deal damage, and complete the quest.
Also, you do not necessarily need to kill an opponent. Deal damage 300 points to an opponent, and the quest will be complete. Remember, if you accidentally dash three times, the effect will be gone, and you must jump back to River Styx to get the effect.
