What Does a Hot Spot Mean in Fortnite?
Hot Spots are named locations displayed in golden color on the map of Fortnite. These locations are different from one match to another. There are around two to three hot spots in every Fortnite match. Also, these are the most dangerous locations to land since most players land in these spots.
How To Land at a Hot Spot in Fortnite
You can land at a Hot Spot in Fortnite by identifying the Hot Spot before launching the Battle Bus. Below are the steps you need to follow.
- Press the Touchpad on the controller or M on the keypad and identify the Hot Spots on the map before launching the Battle bus.
- Identify the Battle bus Route and jump at the nearest location to the Hot Spot.
- Glide to the location as fast as you can and land on it.

Beware, other Fortnite players might have landed on the Hot Spot before you. So, there is a chance you get killed while you are in the air. Jumping from the Battle Bust at the nearest location to the Hot Spot is critical. Then make sure you travel to the location As fast as you can.
Since you need to land on a Hot Spot, landing at a nearby location and traveling to the Hot Spot does not count for the quest. So, land at the exact location to win the reward.
