Amidst the adrenaline rush and nail-biting scenarios in MW3 Zombies, you’ll stumble upon a tier 2 Interceptor mission that’s both rewarding and challenging. Your quest? Hunt down a formidable Mercenary Convoy and seize a coveted Stronghold Keycard. But don’t underestimate it – finding the convoy is no walk in the park, and if left untouched, progression in the game is impossible. The challenge of this mission is mostly finding these convoys since they are not shown on the mini-map right away. But don’t worry; this guide will tell you how to find and destroy Mercenary Convoy in MW3 Zombies.
Where to find the Mercenary Convoy in MW3 Zombies

Mercenary Convoy in MW3 Zombies is rotating around the map. Eventually, You will find them in medium and easy difficulty zones while driving through the main highway. The Interceptor mission requires you to destroy at least one convoy and find the keycard to complete the mission. Below are the steps you need to follow to find these convoys.
- Get into a vehicle and start driving on the highway. Ensure you have enough fuel in the vehicle since you might need to drive for some time.
- Look for three armored trucks marked on mnimap as three red vehicles. Once you spot them, Dobbs will call and alert you about the convoy’s proximity. This is your cue to prepare for the ambush.

Destroying the Mercenary Convoy
An RPG weapon is the easiest way to destroy these mercenary Convoys in MW3 Zombies. Initially, we tried to complete the mission a couple of times with some other weapons, but the RPG provided the most efficient results. So, make sure to bring down enough ammunition for it.
There will be a bunch of soldiers in these vehicles, and you have to eliminate all of them. Once you destroy them, you will find a Mercenary Stronghold keycard from one soldier. Some players mentioned the last soldier dropped the keycard. But we can’t guarantee that since we started the search for the keycard after eliminating all soldiers.
Also, destroy at least one convoy to complete the mission. Then, you will complete the mission and receive the Bone Rattle weapon blueprint and 3000 XP as rewards.
